What is your gut reaction while talking to this person? Do you feel comfortable? Can you feel the passion they have for their craft? Dig into that background, read their bio and ask questions! 

This is where you will know if this is possibly the right person for you and your horse. You will want to know costs and they will explain to you in detail how the process works. Always remember you are looking for quality, you want to show these off in your home, in your barn, this is very personal art that carries a lot of emotion and meaning for you. Ok, now the stress of money is gone and trust me, we all know what it is to live on a budget. It’s your turn to share your vision, you have been researching and seeing your friends on social media sharing images so you're pretty clear on what you want. As a photographer I love when clients share their ideas, show me their favorite images. This gives me a starting point, we can use this as a foundation, I don’t copy the image they have shown me, but we use it to create something new and completely unique that captures their equine partners personality, the strong bond between you and your horse.  

A good photographer will be in tune with you and make the session, the process of image selection and the final product, fun, exciting and very rewarding. Ultimately giving you portraits of you and your horse you will treasure always.
