Part - 3 Crafting Strength
I started doing Pin Up/Boudoir photography about 10 years ago and am in awe of the women I have had the privilege to photograph. For many women, this is very much out of their comfort zone and have told me the only reason they were willing to do this type of session, was because I am a woman.
My first tip to any woman looking to do this type of photography is to be safe, research and if the photographer you choose doesn’t allow you to bring a support person, find a new photographer.
My goal in this type of photography is to make my client so comfortable that they will let that inner vivacious woman out, when that happens the camera can literally melt. For most it is like a transformation and I hear "I can't believe that is me!" My reward is seeing a woman look at herself in a whole new light.
It's hard work, not only for me but for the client, it's similar to taking a crash course in modeling, yoga and breathing techniques all in a few hours.
